Private Pheasant Hunts + World-Class Shooting Next Door
Rates & Packages
Full-Day Corporate or Group Hunt & Event
All group events are split into two time blocks with lunch in the middle:
8:00 AM–11:00 AM and 1:00 PM–4:00 PM.
If booking the full package, the pheasant hunt can be in the morning or afternoon, with the shooting event at the opposite time.

Firearms (rifles, pistol, and shotguns including ammunition) can be provided at no cost for group bookings
Half-Day Pheasant Hunt

$50 per bird released

25-bird minimum per day

Good for up to 5 hunters

Each additional person requires purchasing at least 5 additional birds
Notes:

Lunch, bird cleaning, and shooting-complex events are not included for half-day hunts.

At this time, we are not set up for solo or very small hunts below the 25-bird minimum.
Additional Hunting
Native grouse and partridge may be taken at no additional cost, in accordance with state limits and licensing.
Terms & Payment

50% deposit due at booking; balance due on the day of the hunt.
Hunter Requirements

Sign waiver

Wear orange cap and eye protection while hunting

Have a valid South Dakota hunting license
-
Provide your own ammunition for the pheasant hunt (ammo for the shooting complex is included)
Orange caps, eye protection, and ammunition are available for purchase on-site if needed.
Licenses
All hunters must purchase a South Dakota license online before the hunt. gfp.sd.gov
Residents

18+ years: Habitat Stamp ($10) + Small Game License — yearly ($36) or 1-day ($15).

If you already hold a fishing license, you already have a Habitat Stamp.

Ages 12–17: Small Game Stamp ($10) + valid hunter safety card

Under 16 without hunter safety: Mentor Small Game Stamp ($5). Must be accompanied by an unarmed adult (18+).
Non-Residents

18+ years: Habitat Stamp ($25) + Small Game License ($142, valid for two 5-day periods)

Ages 12–17: Youth Small Game License ($10, valid for two 5-day periods) + valid hunter safety card

Under 16 without hunter safety: Mentor Small Game Stamp ($10). Must be accompanied by an unarmed adult (18+).
Future Requirement: Once we obtain a preserve license in 2026, non-residents will also need a preserve license in addition to the above.
